Ardenmere
Ardenmere is a turn-based monster-hunting RPG. Take contracts from eight villages, hunt your way across 24 areas — from the reed marshes of the Sunwash to the Hinge of Day — and bring down 80 monsters and 24 bosses ranked Common to Legendary. Every fight is a duel of reads: strike HIGH, MID or LOW, raise your DEFEND, and watch how the enemy answers. Land the right three-strike sequence to trigger one of 15 finishers. Level to 10, spend Skill and Talent points, chase loot in five rarities with affixes, item levels, set bonuses and +5 enhancement at the forge, brew potions and elixirs, clear 9 dungeons, and fill the bestiary. Controls
Strike
1 HIGH · 2 MID · 3 LOW, or click a sword on the dial. HIGH hits hardest and misses most; LOW lands often and slows the enemy. On a touchscreen the first tap picks a zone and shows your damage and odds; a second tap on the same zone swings.
Hit, dodge, block, crit
Your HIT rating against their DODGE decides whether a blow lands; their BLOCK against your PIERCE decides whether it does anything; CRIT against CRIT RESIST decides whether it hits for extra. Every rating is a number on your sheet, shown as the odds against the area you are in.
Defend
G halves the damage you take and the damage you deal for as long as you hold it. It burns STAMINA, a broken stance is worse than none, and bleed and venom go straight through it.
Finishers
Three strikes in the right order trigger a finisher — through the block, to the seam, or a stagger. The chain ribbon shows which one you are a swing away from, and a miss or a block still counts toward the chain.
Potions and elixirs
4–9 drink from your belt: Health, Strength or Precision. One a round, free, and a buff is spent by your next strike whether it lands or not. Elixirs (T in the field) run on the clock for an hour.
More than one
Something else can wander into a fight. Click a name to switch target; the field shows the odds of company before you commit.
In the field
E map · K equipment · C shop · J journal · B bestiary · V village · R eat. Health comes back on its own out of combat; food is the fast way.

Everything is tappable and the zone targets are thumb-sized. Picking a zone and committing to it are separate taps, near-misses are forgiven, and dragging off a control before you lift cancels it. Turn sideways for the full-size board — in landscape the page gives the whole screen to the game.
